This was not as good as the first one. I felt like the ending was rushed and not thought through as well. The book wasn’t that great and I’m a sucker for this author and the “slightly psychopathic alpha male” trope. Wouldn’t recommend

It was cute, sweet, a little sexy. HEA approved but a little bit too perfect for me. They fell in insta love and everything played out perfectly. It was a great binge and filled my sweetness cup all the way up but I wouldn’t listen to it again or recommend it for anyone looking for a “stays with you” type of book.

Oh my goodness. I had gooseflesh the entire book! It was so good. The ending was beautiful (of course) the romance was on par. Death was my favorite horseman. The world building was not great but I think the focus was on the romance/struggles between the two MC’s so I justified it as not needed info.

Overall I would recommend this book, read it again and many panties will be ruined thinking back on the smut scenes.

This book was just good. It wasn’t great or standout, the smut scenes weren’t “change my panties worthy” it’s not a re-read but it was enjoyable enough. Kinda like eating marshmallows instead of s’mores.

Good idea bad execution

This story had the promise to be so good! Two brothers, a girl with a broken past? I was so excited especially since it was recommended after finishing a T.L. Swan book (great author btw) I was so let down by this book though.

The characters had no depth, the scenes had promise but blacked out at the WEIRDEST parts,you’d be in the moment and then suddenly it was like the author couldn’t think of how to carry on so stopped the scene. The supporting characters had no backstory or relevance to the plot they were just kinda in there to make the MC seem not isolated. The way the MC’s had conversations with themselves and others was super weird. Like there was no understanding of how a normal conversation plays out. The “no to go” moment in the book was so sudden I had to rewind by a minute to make sure I didn’t miss a part. It was just like BAM 180 after the tiniest build up.

Don’t even get me started on the ending. Again the premise is good (a bad boy broken man with a secret pained past) the execution though and the Female MC reaction? It was a disappointment and I LOVE me some quick read guilty pleasures but this was too poorly executed in my opinion.

Narration: the female narration was alright but the guy sounded kinda like he was singing reading the lines. I couldn’t decide if it was hot or not but it definitely took the book down a notch.

This story was nice, I enjoyed listening to it! The sex scenes were decent, not too hot and not too frilly. The story line was shockingly good! I enjoyed most of the story except the “shoe drop” every story has the part where the “shoe drops” so to speak. I thought the reasoning was ridiculous after everything they went through. After that though it picked up back to pace again and I was left feeling satisfied but not dying for more. All around good book and worth the credit.

Okay so not as good as as Mr. Masters (imho) still a story I SWOONED over though. I love for this authors epilogues. The female narrator put her soul into this performance. I was very impressed.

Surprisingly good

The love story in this book was cute! Only made me roll my eyes a few times and I literally finished it in a day so I was definitely hooked! :o
I wish there were more steamy scenes and less insecurity from Olive.

The narrating was pretty good. The epilogue in Ethans POV at the end with the mans narrating made me want to hurl the phone across the room. Way to take Ethans hotness from 10 to 0 haha.
