These reviews must be bots or YouTube fans. This book is nonsensical at best. Filled with the poor handling of literally every subject it tries to cover. From redemption to rape this guy really has no idea what he’s doing and tried to write a video game character with heavy concepts of realism

We’re warned that the main character is a simp and BOY IS HE. This man would excuse this woman killing his father right in front of him. I enjoyed his self inflicted misery but Manon I wanted to suffer. Instead she just gracefully says “I’m dying.” And dies. After all the nonsense she causes she just dies in the rushed final chapters.

So I was just wondering if it is just me, or is there a line where casteel wraps his arms around his own shoulders? that's not all my review is about, though. I really truly liked this series at the start, and yet it seems to just drag on and on. I absolutely love the characters (mainly reaver) and their antics and banter, but I swear if I hear Keiran say one more thing about poppy asking too many questions, I will make myself cease to exist. It gets very repetitive and I understand poppy is learning about herself as we go but every book there's a new addition to her power, it's like a plot twist you jokingly expect to happen and when it does your kinda bummed for getting it right. I truly hope this is either one of the last books in this series. Let it end while it's still entertaining. If not, I fear it will continue to become a bore to those I share a similar mind with.

A parody even down to Sparry’s quivering whimper of a voice

While some of the jokes were a bit juvenile, 90% of them hit with ironic humor. The running gags were great, the impersonation of Harry’s pitiful voice, his syntax. It was hilarious. Brought great humor to Harry’s failed sense of awareness and delusion. His hypocrisy is on display in laughable measure. Great work

Not interested so far and I’m on chapter 22. I’ll update when I’m done. Harry spends so much time with his mommy issues and resenting everyone around him and somehow being the victim. I don’t understand all these positive reviews

Many good ideas but it’s clear the author only had the capacity to write well for certain characters. Luca and the Irishman were great but Vito and Sonny are caricatures of their personas. The final chapters are incredibly rushed and left little to no impact
