This is a very good story and yet I was disappointed in the narration. The male part was incredibly difficult to tolerate.

This memoir is masterfully written & performed

I was a fan of Brandi before, but I am a dedicated super fan now. I’ve gone down all the YouTube performance rabbit holes, as one does after falling in love with a musician. This book is incredibly reflective and thoughtful, hopeful and real. The music she adds to every chapter and again at the end is like a gift for her listeners. I loved this so much.
