If you could sum up Gone Girl in three words, what would they be?
He never saw it coming
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes, I have never read anything by this author. They will be one of my favorites from now on. I never saw this coming, once i saw how it was turning i couldn't stop listening. I lost sleep at nite trying to stay awake to find out what was happening next. I could not believe what was happening. How a plan so well planned fell into place so perfectly! It was planned so far back.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When the young husband realized he had no choice but to stay. This broke my heart, the point that he would have to stay with a woman who purely had this all planned from the very beginning. He had no chance of real happiness as he has pictured it. He would have a son, but the things he hated in his father was now in his wife and who knows how that would affect his son. Disfunction all over again! Please! Please! Please! As they say he ran from a lion right into the a bear. Which is worst?

I truley love listening to this book. It was worth the lost sleep.

I have read books by terry before and they didn't all meet up to what i had expected but i was surprised at this one. I acutually listen twice. It was very good. I cold relate to what the women were going through and even knew some that were having the same troubles. It inspired me to dig deeper into what makes me happy and go after it. I thought i was, but after reading this, i don't think so. Thank you Terry for writing such an inspirational book. I know that a lot came from within you, sometimes it's hard to tell what you're going through. To reveal what hurts, that is when the healing starts. Again, thanks Terry for this inspiring book. I LOVED IT!!

after hearing of the movie, i assumed the book was written in the 1st person. It is written as someone looking on. I love forest whittaker as an actor,i will see the movie. i am just a little dissapointed in the book. For as long as i can remember i have heard about this man. I thought i would learn more first hand as if coming from him.

i thoroughly enjoyed this book. it let me know just how smart some people really are. never under estimate the power of the mind. at times it was very funny. once the brain has learned somthing it's there for good.The five mad dogs proved that, and their loyalty.
