Historia
In the aftermath of the brutal murder of his father, a mysterious woman, Kahlan Amnell, appears in Richard Cypher's forest sanctuary seeking help...and more. His world, his very beliefs, are shattered when ancient debts come due with thundering violence. In a dark age it takes courage to live, and more than mere courage to challenge those who hold dominion, Richard and Kahlan must take up that challenge or become the next victims.

Classic Story Told in a Brilliant Performance!
Revisado: 11-09-17
Sam Tsoutsouvas did an incredible job bringing life to this classic novel. I enjoyed this book when I was young, and spent the past week revisiting the original story that taught me the joy of reading. It was a true pleasure experiencing it again, and now I'm afraid I will have to reread the entire series :)

Historia
An advertising executive receives a postcard from a friend and casually appropriates the image for an advertisement. What he doesn’t realize is that included in the scene is a mutant sheep with a star on its back, and in using this photo he has unwittingly captured the attention of a man who offers a menacing ultimatum: find the sheep or face dire consequences.

Brilliant!
Revisado: 10-06-17
Wow. What a fantastic book. My words can't do it justice. The narrator did a fantastic job differentiating each character and adding even more depth to the already colorful characters. Murakami is brilliant, and adds to my soul with each of his novels. I read this book once when I was younger, and it is even more fantastic the second time around. I am excited to read Dance Dance Dance!

Historia
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Phenomenal!
Revisado: 09-07-17
I cannot adequately express the brilliant job performed by the cast on this beautiful and classic story. Sublime reading on their part made this already clever story infinitely more enjoyable--which I did not think was possible.
This edition will become an immediate classic in my household and will offer hours of delightful autumn listening to set the mood before winter.
