Historia
Lizzie Grace is trying to get on with her life now that she and Aiden have gone their separate ways, but it’s a difficult thing to do when just about everything reminds her of the damn man. The situation is made worse when a body is found, and her job as Deputy Reservation Witch means she has no choice but to interact with him. At first, the death seems to be nothing more than an accidental drowning in a remote location, but it’s soon evident a supernatural entity is involved.

I fell in love with this series from the very first book. As each book comes along the depth of the character's and their interlocking storylines just continues to evolve. This is the second time reading, ok listen to this book. ❤️❤️❤️

I love this series, but had a horrible time staying interested in the story. I never would have purchased this book had I realized Jim Frangione wasn't the narrator...... Christine Feehan, if Jim's not available, wait to record the next book until he is. This nis a NO for me!!!

Historia
Zev Hunter was an elite warrior, a dark-blood dealer of death to rogue Lycans who preyed on mankind. He was a loner, never given to personal attachments, and damned fierce at his job. But Zev begins to question his past and his purpose when he awakens in the darkness of the sacred cave of warriors - and is soothed back to consciousness by the sensuously familiar voice of one woman, the woman who has haunted his fantasies for centuries. She was Branislava, member of the Dragonseeker clan.

Loved, Loved, Loved this book!!!
Revisado: 10-11-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes most definitely. As always this series just gets better. Number 26 never even came close to being a disappointment. If you are a lover of this series you will be very pleased with this latest installment.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Zev, loved the new addition of the Wolf perspective to the Carpathian landscape. This time the character was more wolf than Carpathian and it was refreshing. Especially as his character has evolved over the past couple of novels.
What does Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Yes, they never disappoint, NEVER... I'm so glad they’re back. They really know how to breath life into this very complicated series. Through them I really feel I know the characters, it’s as if they’re friends to be welcomed back in each new novel. With the Carpathian language, all the characters since the inception of this series and the very involved storyline plotting I find this book much easier to follow and much more entertaining in the audio book version.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
More laugh than cry this time, which is a welcome change as this series is very true to its name "Dark". But, Christine did finally get near the end this her very BIG surprise; don’t want to bring spoiler for those who have not read the book yet.
Any additional comments?
Only addition is please, Christine Feehan, never, ever, ever, change the narrators of this series again. This book is much stronger in the audio version and the narrator that read 2 books back was a real disappointment. Both Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross are a huge part of the great success of the audio version of this series. PLEASE!!!!

TO BAD * NARRATOR OF THIS BOOK IS SORELY LACKING *
Revisado: 06-26-14
If you could sum up Dark Lycan in three words, what would they be?
Romantic, Exciting, Satisfying... I love Christine Feehan's novels, especially the Dark Series. Dark Lycan was not an exception. But, don't waste your time with this audio book; go straight to the hardcover or e-book.
If you’ve listened to books by Christine Feehan before, how does this one compare?
I have done both, read and listened to the books in this series. In all cases, except for this book, I think it’s far better to listen to the audio books. I find this series a very complicated read, the Carpathian’s have their own unique language, as well as many complex traditions. It’s a real treat to sit back and listen, as a narrator (like Phil Gigante) unfolds these very exciting and romantic novels. Note, I said Phil Gigante, not Robert Sarkus. As I said above, don't waste your time with this audio book; go straight to the hardcover or e-book.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Robert Sarkus, the narrator of this book, just reads the story with little to no emotion. Additionally, it’s clear he did not take enough time researching the Carpathian language, as many of the words and names are pronounced improperly. For this book, I stopped listening and went out and purchased the hardcover. Good news, Phil Gigante has returned for Dark Wolf, the next book in this series. I can hardly wait.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A brand new twist on the age-old vampire saga...
Any additional comments?
Do not let this audio book stop you from listening to other books in this series. Just a reminder the next book, Dark Wolf, brings back Phil Gigante as the narrator. Gigante’s interpenetration of the characters and the storyline lets you get lost in the book and fall in love with the series all over again. You’ll find yourself wanting to listen to the entire series, starting with book 1, all over again.
