Historia
Quantum physics is notable for its brazen defiance of common sense. (Think of Schrödinger's Cat, famously both dead and alive.) An especially rigorous form of quantum contradiction occurs in experiments with entangled particles. Our common assumption is that objects have properties whether or not anyone is observing them, and the measurement of one can't affect the other. Quantum entanglement rejects this assumption, offering impeccable reasoning and irrefutable evidence of the opposite. Is quantum entanglement mystical, or just mystifying?

Really boring, author sounds like he’s trying to sound smart but doesn’t actually understand the subject matter. Idk not very well written in my opinion, kinda too long even though it’s 3 hours. It felt like an essay stretched tediously into a book.

Historia
In Quantum Physics: What Everyone Needs to Know, quantum physicist Michael G. Raymer distills the basic principles of such an abstract field, and addresses the many ways quantum physics is a key factor in today's science and beyond. The book tackles questions as broad as the meaning of quantum entanglement and as specific and timely as why governments worldwide are spending billions of dollars developing quantum technology research. Raymer's list of topics is diverse, and showcases the sheer range of questions and ideas in which quantum physics is involved.

Really well done
Revisado: 07-08-24
The middle bogged down a bit, but overall it’s a well summarized history/ facts of how we got to to current quantum theory. It’s concise with counter arguments and proofs, well written without all the boring math. Definitely worth listening to for a clear understandable version of quantum theory.

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

The narrator is good the story is bleh
Revisado: 02-11-23
It just goes on forever. The story is about language and how speaking with two mouths makes aliens somehow ethically pure, and humans come in and muss it all up for them. Some cool space flight ideas, other than that just one long tedious slog through mirthless language.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Good story meh narrator
Revisado: 06-19-22
It’s a great story, I just feel like the narration is not my type really. I enjoy listening to a deeper voice maybe, and also a good portion of the book is spent with a weird accent, which I never did get used to.
