Too much unnecessary language

The beginning made me sad. It was hard to read about such difficult conditions.
Stick with it. This book is so worth it! It’s important history to read and feel gratitude for your own life and the triumph of those who keep going in difficult circumstances

Well written but not for me

I’ve loved some of this author’s Audible shorts. Her writing is really good, excellent character voice, and she really knows how to do romance. A bit spicier than I personally like.
One thing I didn’t love: while I know the author meant to present the different varied reactions to the MC’s pregnancy, I really objected to the fact that her only representation of a Christian character is one who responds in a cold and negative way. Does she think that because Christians have a specific set of personal morals, we’re all unable to be happy for and supportive of someone who makes a different choice?

Wonderful funny characters plus unique story

There is so much humor and fun in this, but also a depth unusual to most romances. I love that it’s clear and uplifting. I love that they find a way for both of them to explore their dreams yet still find each other. Narration wasn’t my favorite but I’m not taking off stars because the book is just so good!

She writes such entertaining situations and realistic, lovable characters. I love that this is written for all audiences and hope she writes more like this. Book 3 of the series might be my favorite yet.

Unique Format, Sweet Terrific Story

I listened to this in a day. I’ve enjoyed all three of this authors originals for Audible and wish she had more PG rating offerings The phone call format is so unique. The humorous dialogue and situations are enjoyable. I loved the characters and their relationship. It’s always nice to read about the hope of love rediscovered!

Just what I needed

These short meditations are so well done. Today I felt stressed and did two app meditations that didn’t help. I played one of these and it helped. I liked her explanation of why and how staying present can calm us and help us heal from the effects stress and unpacked emotions can cause.

One of the Best Books I’ve Read

I really enjoyed this book. It’s very well written, touches on serious works issues while remaining being encouragingly hopeful. As delightful as the lemon cream cheese frosting cake she describes!

Mostly really good

I liked the artist the MC helps with hoarding, and the relationship between the two. However, I did not like when the MC ignores the possibility to renew a solid relationship with her past partner, saying she “deserves” a fling with a younger man. There’s no decent benefit to that kind of choice and it tarnished my respect for the main character
