Historia
It was always Samantha's dream to run her beautiful rescue centre, Hedgehog Hollow, full-time. But just as her wish comes true, she becomes a victim of her own kindness when she finds herself with a house full of guests - all with their own problems and secrets - looking to her for support. When her self-absorbed cousin, Chloe, unexpectedly turns up at the farm - swiftly handing over her baby to Samantha to care for - trouble is definitely brewing. Especially as Chloe won’t tell anyone why she’s left her husband, James.

Nice story
Revisado: 10-25-22
The story is interesting. The performance is lacking. The voices are forced so it is not believable.

Historia
As a young girl, Georgana Woodall dreamed of beautiful dresses, fancy balls, and falling in love. However, when her mother dies, she cannot face a future under the guardianship of her abusive grandmother and instead chooses to join her father on his ship disguised as his cabin boy, “George”. Lieutenant Dominic Peyton has no time in his life for love, not with his dedication to His Majesty’s Royal Navy claiming his full attention. When he sees the captain’s cabin boy being harassed by the crew, he immediately puts a stop to it and takes the “boy” under his wing.

Awful reading
Revisado: 03-04-22
The story is not bad, but the performance was awful! It had a sort of rhythm that was mind-numbing. There was hardly any emotion because of the repetitive cadence in the performance. This would be better to read as opposed to listening to.

Historia
Today millions of kids are stuck in a world that doesn't respect, support, or embrace who they really are - these are what Deborah Reber is calling the “differently wired” kids, the one in five children with ADHD, dyslexia, Asperger’s, and other neurodifferences. Their challenges are many. But now there’s hope. Written by Deborah Reber, a best-selling author and mother in the midst of an eye-opening journey with her son who is twice exceptional (he has ADHD, Asperger’s, and is highly gifted), Differently Wired is a how-to, a manifesto, a book of wise advice, and more.

It makes you think
Revisado: 10-20-20
This book is a must read for parents of 2E children. The author candidly tells her story whilst giving practical tips on how to navigate and make the most of what you’ve got.
Her story makes you realize we are not alone and it helps take away the blame, by little by little asking deep questions that take you into a deep soul searching path.
