Yes, I would. The Author introduces Strategic Management and some issues attached to it in interesting way and deep at the same time that can attract scholars, workers at the business field and those are simply curious about knowing about the concept, its meaning, importance, value and how strategic management plans are formed..

Which character – as performed by Mayr Berry – was your favorite?

The first female CEO of Avon, Andrea Jung that was represented as a case study to explain how CEOs form effective strategic management plan. I also liked how she modernized the vision statements of Avon as a big company in the beauty industry, especially after knowing from several examples the author presented, how important are those statements for inspiring the consumers outside and the company's performers inside.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! Actually I was planning to split it on two times but it attracted me and I kept listening till the end.

The bonus track for relaxation is amazing. For me the best sentences are;My ethical strategic planning contributes positive energy to the world.I'm passionate about my work and our ethical strategic planning process. No doubt they provide the employer and the employee with positive image so we, employers or employees, can seek achieving that image on the ground.

A Deeper Prespective For Ethics In The World

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would! For it's reach with deep and valuable knowledge about a topic seemed familiar. Then I found various unconventional perspectives and angels. There's always new. That's what I found with Ethics and Mayr Berry's titles generally. She discussed many ideas and issues as the early ethical influences, their rule in shaping the person's character, the confusing experiences of having an original culture that is different from the one of the place you live in, and being tough values by people don't adopt them in real life, and the rule of the two factors in motivating the person to establish his or her own ethical values.I was reminded that it's also important to improve our abilities to defend ourselves against the others' unethical behavior. There's also the character disorders, and how they cause unclear idea about what's right and wrong. How they can lead to damages, sometimes are severe, in the person's business and personal life. And how big corporations can be affected by the ethical standards and behavior of their leaders..

Which character – as performed by Mayr Berry – was your favorite?

Well, it's not a novel, but there were several examples the narrator told to clarify her points. My favorite was the brave woman that, for the first time, stood up wisely against an unethical behavior at her work.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it was! For Mayr's narration grabbed my attention, the theme of the audiobook was interesting, and for the examples she brought from her experiences in her business life, and from ethical situations big companies witnessed.

Breaching Barriers.. Enjoyable & Educative!

What made the experience of listening to Breaching Communication Barriers the most enjoyable?

Breaching is rich with educative examples from the author's experiences and other successful communicators and leaders' ones. She simplifies the information and presents them in interesting way.

What about Mayr Berry’s performance did you like?

Mayr's performance is great! Her narration grabbed my attention, and as a non-native speaker of English, I understood what she says easily..

What did you learn from Breaching Communication Barriers that you would use in your daily life?

The audiobook highlights important ideas and subjects. The first lesson I've learned is that mindful communication is something to be earned with knowing, experience and work. And although some of us are natural leaders, the rest who are not can learn to be. The second is how vital are communication skills for personal and business relationships. There is also the "communication vs technology" issue. I have been reminded that I should be aware of the both sides of technology's effect on us. Another subject grabbed my attention strongly is how and what it means to be a good listener. I haven't known that listening has types, levels and needs learning and training, although communication skills were part of my study at the university. I also enjoyed the intercultural communication aspect. It would be great to be able to communicate with others from different places and cultures effectively and easily.
