The story was very relatable, He didn’t come from an abused background or poverty. it is just a regular guy who wants to be a bad ass.
The actionables were very clear and easy to follow, steps that are easy to understand but challenging to follow.
Brent is real, he is honest about his struggles and weaknesses and how he overcome them

Shawn Thornton was an unlikely NHL success, to say the least. The Oshawa, Ontario, native was picked late in the OHL and later thought he was being pranked when the Toronto Maple Leafs called him to say he'd been selected in the seventh round of the 1997 NHL draft. After years spent working and maturing in the AHL, Thornton would go on to play fourteen seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, Boston Bruins, and Florida Panthers, winning two Stanley Cups along the way.

Team Canada, featuring the country’s best players—all NHL stars, half of them future Hall of Famers—would play an eight-game series, with four games played across Canada followed by four in Moscow. Almost everyone expected Team Canada to crush their untried opponents eight games to zero, with backups playing the last four games.

Born in 1964; this summit series wasn’t available growing up in Northern Minnesota - but these player became my hockey heroes.
It is a sport I have enjoyed watching my entire life and now I am going back finding all the autobiographic’s I can find. Gretzky, Howe, Crosby, and Trottier.

Loved this audio book, give it 3 minutes - the recording isn’t as professional as the top fiction books but the message is clear, easy to understand and in your face.
No thin skin if you want this book to help.
Faith peppers the audio with colorful language, so best for headphones or no kids in the car - I personally loved it.

A year and a half into our marriage, I found out my husband had been having an affair with a 19-year-old for six months. I filed for divorce and left. Two weeks later I met a man, and we fell madly in love. It was a fairy-tale romance for a month and a half, and he convinced me to join him on a romantic month-long vacation in Italy. Forty-eight hours before we were supposed to get on a plane, he told me he needed to go by himself. I was devastated. So, I had a decision to make. Either stay home and be heartbroken, or go travel Europe for a month by myself.

The ALL TIME WORST

This was actually painful to my ears, in every way possible, the story, her voice, the overly self absorbed obvious self adoration in the most obnoxious way! Not only do I say “don’t waste your money” I would say “don’t even read it if it was given to you for free” it is actually that painful. The only reason I made it through is because I one of those nut cases that if I buy it I feel like I owe it to myself to start and finish it. Ugh...HORRIBLE.
