Historia
Modern terrorism has thrived thanks to the development of political correctness and bullshit. "Islamophobia" is another cost effective weapon used by terrorists to undermine criminal behavior while simultaneity victimizing the targets of their crimes. Islamophobia, offers social protection and empathetic support for terrorists to avoid accountability in virtually every context-legally, socially, ethically, and spiritually. "Islamophobia" like the entire religion of Islam, is an artificial concept crafted and implemented by manipulative assholes to gain support for their crimes against ...

You are clearly informed and passionate, however due to your use of language I am uncertain of the faith you profess. Of course you can use any language you choose, but if you are a Christian please consider your responsibility and witness. I’ll keep listening. Hope you continue.

Some very biased perspectives
Revisado: 01-10-25
I like the host. She is like able and fun. However in most every show I’ve listened to there is such a biased leaning towards the left for idiotic reasons. Like it or not Tolkien was a Christian man and a man of faith. Truth doesn’t change just because it’s the “20th century”. I’m not here to listen to your liberal view points I thought I’d be hearing about the world of Middle Earth.

Historia
What happens when you die? We don't like to think about death. It's not a pleasant subject, and we avoid even discussing it seriously or giving it any diligent study. Yet our appointment with death is the most certain event in our future. We all know of personal examples when death has come suddenly to people, without warning, without preparations; car accidents, stray bullets, unforeseen strokes. When it comes our time, what do we expect death to be like? How will we enter eternity?

Historia
Batman is one of the most compelling and enduring characters to come from the Golden Age of Comics, and interest in his story has only increased through countless incarnations since his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Why does this superhero without superpowers fascinate us? What does that fascination say about us? Batman and Psychology explores these and other intriguing questions about the masked vigilante, including: Does Batman have PTSD? Why does he fight crime? Why as a vigilante? Why the mask, the bat, and the underage partner?

Great book great Narrator
Revisado: 11-23-20
If you got the version with Mike Chamberlin narrating you will be happy. With the narration itself and sound quality.
The book was right up my ally as a lover of comics and a licensed therapist. Read this along with the DSM 5 in hand and it made it come to fiction explode into reality.
No psychological know how needed! Just a willingness to expand your mind!

Historia
The daughter of a Legion war hero, fighting was in Andien Broxin's blood. But the battles Republic marines face on strange and alien worlds are a far cry from the vaunted, brutal, no-holds-barred conflicts fought at the edge of the galaxy by the elite legionnaires. Until a devastating war erupts right in the Republic’s stellar backyard. Newly stationed on a mid-core planet being harassed by terrorist revolutionaries, Andien and her fellow “hullbusters” find themselves right in the middle of a desperate fight for survival.

Coors Man?
Revisado: 06-12-20
I get it’s just a sci-fi story, but please do your research on titles. The narrator talks about a combat scenario where Coors-man is noted. Unless this is an actual Galaxy’s Edge title the Marins are supported medically by Corpsman. What is a Coors-man anyway? Is this
the guy who brings the beer?! Corpsman and Marines work side by side, so in a war narrative, get it right, this is part of Navy, USMC culture that should have been been spot on. Errors like this pulls you out of the story.

Historia
Across the galaxy, the Clone Wars are raging. The Separatists, led by Count Dooku, the onetime Jedi and now secret Sith Lord, continue to press forward, and more and more worlds are either falling, or seceding and joining the cause. Under the leadership of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, the Republic heroically battles on, championed by its huge army of cloned soldiers and their Jedi generals. Anakin Skywalker, believed by some to be the prophesied “Chosen One” destined to bring balance to the Force, is now a Jedi Knight under the tutelage of his Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Revisado: 04-27-19
This is a great “read” dealing with the Clone Wars series and it wouldn’t be the same without Jeff in the pilots seat. His character voices for the characters are spot on. It’s easy to forget it’s not the actual actors reading for their own Characters.

Survive
Revisado: 08-07-17
Where does Gray rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is such an amazing book. It is definitiely near the top.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Gray?
When Coral found the boy who died, I really felt for her and was glad to see her humanity evident here and througout the book.
What does Lauren Fortgang bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Excellent narration, brought the book to life, so well done.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
YES! Sadly and not sadly its way too long.
Any additional comments?
This was a book I was heistant to try, I have never heard of the author and have been so disappointed by all the dystopian trash that is out there. This is very different. There are no "heroes" here or epic wars, just a world that could truly happen and characters that you truly care about who you are on a journey with because you as the reader dont have the answers to their questions either. The book doesnt end in a tidy little package, with all your questions answered, or every arc dealt with completely, but life is like that, which makes it all the more engaging.
