I have read all books in this series but thus was the worst. Sophomoric story line. I know the characters of Daphne and Brad are young - 18 and 21, respectively - and the dialogue and DRAMA was evident in the writing.

So sorry I waited 2 years for this

First off the narration was unbearable. I so miss Sebastian York as the male lead. And the immaturity of the characters especially Bryce as a 38 year old man. I could not wait to finish this book and won’t purchase the next in the series because I don’t like these characters

Horrible narration

Did not enjoy either narrator but the female reader was ingratiating. And when she was reading a male character voice she slowed her speech as if the character had an impediment. Awful

Torn

The subject matter is difficult and the first half of the book in which Roxane divulges the horrific gang rape she endured as a 12 year old, and the shame and fear that lead her to so many dangerous and unhealthy relationships with not only food but the men and women she let into her life from a teenager well into her late 20s was heartbreaking.

But as the book progresses I grew weary of her whining and complaining. I feel torn because so much of the physical and emotional pain was caused by the rape but I was annoyed with the second half of the book which seemed repetitive and wore me down. I just wanted the book to end.

Annoying narration

Way too much going on

This 6th book on the series was chock full of way too many story lines to keep track of. I'm ready for the series to end with Ryan's story which I'm sure won't be summed up in the next book.

Weak, insecure, main character

I was bothered by so much in this book. The weak, submissive nature of Emily. The voyeuristic sexual encounters between Emily and Reeve. The flashback scenes of Emily and Amber and how they used their bodies and sex for material items. No redeeming value in any of these female characters.
