Great Addition to the MH Series a

This is the best monster Hunter memoirs so far! I don’t usually like female narrators for this series, but this one is admittedly, an exception. She is terrific and really captures the fun of the monster hunter narrative.. I hope that Larry writes another story with this character. Highly recommend recommended.

Unbelievably bad and unsympathetic characters: kept thinking it would be redeemed - it wasn’t. If you want a pessimistic view of life - read this book.

Since a very complex book with many characters.

This book is a less than complete and to the Asian saga series. It was satisfying to meet some old characters from Noble House. However, the book lacked the ingenious plot, twist, and humor of the series. It is also a very long book that takes quite a while to gear up to Clavell‘s usual plot intensity. If you love the Asian series, you might as well finish it with this book. On its own, the book is less than perfect.

Worst, narration, ever!

It is difficult to tell whether this would be a good book because their narration was so terrible. We have listen to several dozen Pratchett bucks, and the narrator makes all the difference. this one could not capture the comedic sense of the text at all. It was very flat. please do not let him narrate anymore.

Great narrator tling a great story

I really enjoyed this book. It is different than the Martian, but very compelling. The narrator really doesn’t fantastic job, particularly with the alien language. Highly recommended

Disappointed

I was disappointed in this follow up book by Sullivan. The story is a grinding tail with few humorous or happy moments. The spiritualism is unfocused. Would not recommend. The narration is absolutely flat with all voices sounding about the same.

Difficult to get through

Found this book hard to handle. The French angle was a barrier to some extent. The biggest problem was the cast of very unlikable characters. Hard to understand their motivations. For me, nor an enjoyable read.

Worst Narration Ever

Terrible production. Narrator lisps throughout. The story drones on with parts that would be exciting and heroic - just boring. Really disappointing. Audible - you are so much better than this!

A beautifully written terrible book

This is a very depressing book about ecological tragedy and human tragedy. It is climate change a manifesto that celebrates the destruction of human relationships for greater value of individual potential. I feel like I walked into a trap laid by the authorTo advance her own agenda. Also, she is an author, not a narrator.

Total Garbage!

The story was so convoluted and inane. It wondered aimlessly. The “writers” angle was boring. The performance made the whole experience that much worse. Watching a soap opera would be a better use of your time.
