She was somewhere near 500 lbs. The exact number she'll never know, because the scale was only able to measure weight up to 450 lbs. But, contrary to popular belief, food wasn't the issue. It was anger, guilt, embarrassment, shame, grief, resentment, and fear. Athena would have to face those feelings to understand her path and cultivate a relationship with the unlikeliest of entities: God.

Essentially. This is a book depicting SEALs and specifically Team 6 members as taking advantage of their position as SEALs. Yet at the same time used a kitted soldier and seal team 6 on the cover. Literally using seal team six as marketing for his book, while telling everyone how awful these guys are but using their positions to advance in life. Wtf.

High school drama

I’ve known about Eddie and this story for a while now. I’ve seen interviews and heard a lot of the stories. I listened to this while reading along with the actual book. I recommend getting a copy of that as well, even if you just borrow it from someone. It has QR codes that are linked to legal documents, witness videos, court audio, and video of the terrorist. I can totally understand why Eddie wasn’t liked. This book doesn’t make him out to be the coolest dude ever, and I don’t think that’s the point. It’s very transparent and real. Ha, even the audio from them reading is raw, with little editing. (Which I enjoyed)
In the end, this is a sign of the times and how our society is staying in the high school drama state of mind. The name calling and immaturity is every where. The lack of accountability and privileged mindset is what causes situations like this to occur. This case should have never happened. Our tax dollars wasted on lies and manipulation. And of all things, it’s about the murder of a terrorist, in war.
