Just couldn’t get past the narration
Revisado: 10-08-23
Sorry but this narrator did not cut the mustard. Sarah Ward is one of my favourite authors but this version of her book just left me unable to continue. The performance was wooden and I just couldn’t continue. I will have to read an ebook instead, I am very disappointed.

Historia
Teens control the fate of America in the fourth and final book in the New York Times best-selling Unwind dystology by Neal Shusterman. Proactive Citizenry, the company that created Cam from the parts of unwound teens, has a plan: to mass produce rewound teens like Cam for military purposes. And below the surface of that horror lies another shocking level of intrigue: Proactive Citizenry has been suppressing technology that could make unwinding completely unnecessary.

Historia
Thanks to Connor, Lev, and Risa—and their high-profile revolt at Happy Jack Harvest Camp—people can no longer turn a blind eye to unwinding. Ridding society of troublesome teens while simultaneously providing much-needed tissues for transplant might be convenient, but its morality has finally been brought into question. However, unwinding has become big business, and there are powerful political and corporate interests that want to see it not only continue, but also expand.

Historia
Born a generation apart and with very different ideas about love and family, Mariam and Laila are two women brought jarringly together by war, by loss, and by fate. As they endure the ever escalating dangers around them, in their home as well as in the streets of Kabul, they come to form a bond that makes them both sisters and mother-daughter to each other, and that will ultimately alter the course not just of their own lives but of the next generation.

Great Story but...........
Revisado: 08-18-07
What a great story.... but what makes it so great is that it is so real. I can't get it out of my head that this maybe a story but the topic is real and is happening. I was moved to tears on numerous occasions whilst listening to this book, so don't listen to this if you want to laugh.
This book made me look at my own life and realise how fortunate I am being born in a free country with a choice in how I live my life.
