Historia
Tornadoes, cyclones, tsunamis… Weather can be deadly – especially when it strikes without warning. Millions of Americans could soon find themselves at the mercy of violent weather if the public data behind lifesaving storm alerts gets privatized for personal gain. In his first Audible Original feature, New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Lewis delivers hard-hitting research on not-so-random weather data – and how Washington plans to release it.

A little too political, but good information.

a few jabs at Trump sometimes can ruin the message. the science and basis is good and worth a listen.

Pretty good "read"
Revisado: 01-21-16
Where does Good Fences rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is a decent book in the EMP survival genre. The treatment of the material is thought provoking and not all 100% gung ho.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The development of the people involved keeps you in the story, you actually care about them . There is some good humor, and a little "real world type" of interplay.
What about Kevin Pierce’s performance did you like?
The narrator does a good job and is understandable and likable.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The ending was unexpected and unusual for the story.

Historia
When Rupert Murdoch enlisted Roger Ailes to launch a cable news network in 1996, American politics and media changed forever. With a remarkable level of detail and insight, Vanity Fair magazine reporter Gabriel Sherman puts Ailes’s unique genius on display, along with the outsize personalities - Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Megyn Kelly, Sarah Palin, Karl Rove, Glenn Beck, Mike Huckabee, Gretchen Carlson, Bill Shine, and others - who have helped Fox News play a defining role in the great social and political controversies of the past two decades.

Not for you if your a fan of Fox
Revisado: 01-24-15
Any additional comments?
Kind of a "hit job" on Fox and Rodger, it trys to be balanced and there is some good information, but it gets a little to trivial. If you are a Conservative or a fan of Fox and want to see what the "other side" thinks check it out. Otherwise move on.

Very biased review of history
Revisado: 07-27-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Well done performance, but very biased against conservatives. What should be a interesting retelling of history is infused with a few too many personal opinions about conservative politicians. Unfortunately this clouds the issues and tends to highlight the authors bias. The book would be very good if it was a non-political history of the weapons trade.
