I loved being able to listen to this in Arnold’s voice. He has always fascinated me for the sheer variety of his achievements, areas of expertise, his ability to reach so many different kinds of people, and his sincere desire to make the world a better place.

The book is direct, with clear, practical advice.

I place Arnold Schwarzenneger among the success stories of what many believe the American Dream can be--someone who dreams big, despite starting life with truly humble means and who takes advantage of opportunities and works tirelessly to achieve their goals.

The beauty of his story, however, is his open mind, curiosity, altruism, and gratitude. He repeats throughout the book that he is not a self-made man and makes a point of thanking everyone who inspired him and gave him help in his life's journey. He also provides a blueprint for being truly useful by doing what you can (and we can all do something big or small) to make the world a better place.

I wish the rule to run for U.S. President was 35 years a citizen vs. native born and 35 years old. He uses his celebrity and social media to inspire, unify, and solve problems when he can. It's a shame that an American so capable is prevented from seeking that office.

Revis’s novel starts off with a slow burn, beautifully describing the nature of the moon of Endor and Leia and Han’s quirky and magical wedding, and turns into a riveting mystery and adventure.

I particularly liked how Revis gives us insight into 1) the trauma suffered by Leia at the hands of Darth Vader and her horror after learning he is her father and 2.) Han’s feelings about having a lost a year of his life and his visceral fear of cold afterbeing frozen in carbonite.

Revis also ties in some of Leah’s adventures from the War of the Bounty Hunters comic series. There is also a shameless connection to Disney’s Galactic Cruiser hotel, which is called the Halcyon.

I really loved the dual narrations of Marc Thompson (Han’s chapters) and Saskia Maarleveld (Leia’s chapters). Thompson has the ability to sound just like Harrison Ford, and both actors do a great job paralleling the same multiple characters within the chapters they narrate.

If you love Star Wars, as I do, you will enjoy this adventure with Han and Leia. I am grateful for this story that is just about them.
