The one where he thought he beat the addiction

Of course I love listening to this book because it is our “friend“ Chandler and the true story of Maddie that showed the vulnerability and the chaos of a person suffering from addiction. You find your heart reaching out to him and offering to console him while he continues to make the worst decisions possible, the true tragedy is the end of the book is hopeful and looking at the promise of a new day, knowing that he died of an OD after the release of the book is truly heart wrenching

Reading this book was like reading my own thoughts the author’s humility and authenticity is so endearing. You have no choice but to relate to the premise because it has happened to you.
