Historia
Years ago, the day before Ellie moved from Georgia to California, she and her best friend, Nolan, sat beneath the Spanish moss of an ancient oak tree where they wrote letters to each other, and sealed them in a rusty old metal box. The plan was to return 11 years later and read them. But now, as that date arrives, much has changed. Ellie, bereft of the faith she grew up with, is a single mom living in a tired apartment trying to make ends meet. Sometimes she watches television to catch a glimpse of her old friend - Nolan, now an NBA star, whose terrible personal tragedies fueled his faith and athletic drive in equal measure.

This had me cryinnggg
Revisado: 07-05-24
The love story is realist in many wonderful ways which makes it all the more believable! Had me saying “aweee” quite often lol but best of all was how organically the author intertwined God in the story of each character almost. 100/10 loved it !

I cried many times! Happy tears, empathetic tears! All the above!

I loved the conversations the characters had with Jesus. This book perfectly depicted the love God has for us & how He shows up through His good & faithful servants & the Lord’s pursuit for His children. <3

Story was amazing. Great way of remembering everything. Only issue was the audio was hard to hear clearly when the Flores twins would speak. Mic was too close or something. Without a doubt, the best podcast/audiobook crime story ever
