Confusing
Revisado: 01-17-20
I listened to the first two books two years ago. When this third book came available I figured I could easily catch up and remember the first two. This was not the case as I was totally lost with this the third book. Perhaps I should have gone back and listened to all three at the same time. The books are good and worth the credits when read close to the same time. Perhaps on the other hand it's just age.

Gladiator. Assassin. Thief. Princess. And the slave. The five warrior angels have been revealed; one by one, the mystical weapons they once wielded are being found, and an ancient prophecy is finally being fulfilled. Or is it? For when it comes to recorded history, much is intended to manipulate and deceive.

Very enjoyable duo of books
Revisado: 04-05-19
You have to listen to book one before the second one. Quite an epic journey for the characters in these books.
Some things unexpected and others make you hope that the bad guys and girls get what they deserve. This does not always happen when you think it would. Some non type human characters make the book even better. I would recommend these books and narrator very highly.
The narrator does a superb job all the way through. If not for him it would not be as good.

First book better
Revisado: 02-20-19
A carry on from the first book but not as well done. The first book was an in depth look at characters but this book even went further to the point of tedium. It was ok but could have been much better. The narrator seemed to be always speaking in a French accent and at one point spent a good twenty minutes describing how a famous French baker at the time made a sugar cake for the nobility. Why was this so prolonged and not needed ? The narrator did a great job and made the book, but it lacked substance at many times.

Very good
Revisado: 02-20-19
A good book to listen to with a lot of districtive phrases and words. A good story line that keeps you interested throughout the listening. A lot of in depth wording for characters but keeps you interested and looking forward for more.

Revisado: 07-16-18
When I review a book it's usually short. I don't believe in rambling on for paragraph after paragraph.
This book is written in a way that is unique. The narrator is superb from start to finish. The book is well thought out and written.
The book is worth every penny or credit it costs. It is one of the best audio books for the theatre of the mind and I highly recommend it and the series.

SEX With a touch of a ghost
Revisado: 06-24-18
Closed in book, meaning the story always takes place in a building or room or studio. Far to much attention paid to intricate explanation of what one person is doing to a ghost or visa a versa sexually. The author must think a lot about sex all the time.
Had trouble listening to this book as it seemed fractured into segments and then moved on to another scene and would repeat itself. Will definitely put you to sleep at night. I am returning this book with 8 hours left as it's not worth the credit and there are far better books to listen to.

One of the top five books I've listened to since joining audible. Passed it up many times thinking it wasn't very good by the review at the beginning but I was happily surprised. A complete book from beginning to the end. Quite enjoyable and would highly recommend this book.

The Crypt calls
Revisado: 01-14-18
Worthy of a credit. Interesting plots that can at times be confusing. Overall a good listen but you have to pay attention as it's easy to miss a turn in the story. I purchased this book as I like long books and a good story as well as a good story teller. I've found it's best to sample the narrator before purchasing even if only given five minutes. I would classify this book as a 6 out of ten

One of the top 5 books since joining audible
Revisado: 09-26-17
This is a story that could come true one day. This book is one of the best books I have purchased out of 160 so far. Everything about it is very good. I couldn't wait to listen. This book would be enjoyable to many types of readers. Not to long not to short. Always interesting from the start to finish. A good beginning and a good ending. Always very gripping and puts you in the spot of the characters. What more can you ask for.
