Ruined Book With Different Reader on Last Chapter. Tacky!
Revisado: 03-30-25
On the last chapter of an expensive audiobook, a completely different reader than on prior chapters or on all the other Nero Wolfe Books! No warning or discount. Tacky to paste on a strange voice all of a sudden. I didn’t buy this audiobook at a thrift shop. Such carelessness by Audible. If the author were alive, he’d be pissed. Nobody noticed or cared? Totally ruined the book.

Over-Wrought One-Dimensional Anti-Choice Propaganda
Revisado: 10-17-18
All the female characters are shrews or annoying weaklings without dimension. The story makes a lot of twists and turns of unsatisfying nothings that it stretches for pages for no sensible reason. Poirot’s traditional explanation stretches over ten chapters and they are not fun, turn boring often. There is shameless anti-choice propaganda (Agatha Christie was careful of this, Ms. Hannah is not, putting it above the story). Mr. Rhind-Tutt is good, but with every book sounds less like David Suchett who is THE Poirot forever. I feel the book itself veers away from Agatha Christie tradition and feels more like a traditional Ms. Hannah book that just happens to have Poirot as a character.

Historia
In his wickedly brilliant first novel, Debut Dagger Award winner Alan Bradley introduces one of the most singular and engaging heroines in recent fiction: Eleven-year-old Flavia de Luce, an aspiring chemist with a passion for poison. It is the summer of 1950 - and a series of inexplicable events has struck Buckshaw, the decaying English mansion that Flavia’s family calls home. A dead bird is found on the doorstep, a postage stamp bizarrely pinned to its beak. Hours later, Flavia finds a man lying in the cucumber patch and watches him as he takes his dying breath.

I feel cheated!
Revisado: 11-28-12
Would you try another book from James Malinchak and/or Mike Giles?
Not unless it were free.
Has James Malinchak - Building a Multi Million Dollar Speaking Business turned you off from other books in this genre?
No.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mike Giles?
Issue is not with narration.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from James Malinchak - Building a Multi Million Dollar Speaking Business?
I would redo the entire thing and make the book about what it's title promised it would be about.
Any additional comments?
Nobody buys a book about how to do something, only to hear about how what you need to do is to hire the author to do it for you. This book was horrible. This guy just boasting about how successful he is, never once giving you a concrete usable tip beyond find a mentor, work right and some other worthless platitudes...the "interviewer" gushing all over him as if he were Warren Buffett. Terrible. If author is such an entrepreneur, he should know the importance of delivering what you promise and giving customers more value than they paid for. These were 38 minutes I will never get back.
