“Skip trotted to my car” Really, with 9 broken ribs and a serious concussion!

This author has obviously never had ANY kind of rib or head injury. No one with NINE broken ribs and a serious concussion does anything this character does. Especially skip trot to their car!! I don’t think she ever even complains about a headache, nausea or blurry vision.

From the get go this book was ridiculous!

If you are going to hurt you character that badly then you need to skip a head at the very least 6 month but closer to a year.

For this reason and the female character getting the crap beat out of her, I just could not get into this one.

Oh, and if my boyfriend & his pals did this to me then I really wouldn’t care if he had an “accident” while in prison! I would be overjoyed!

I’m not sure why this book has such a high rating. It is unrealistic and domestic violence should not be glorified and the injuries swept aside for the pace of the story.

This one is a HUGE not worth a credit or cash.

The only thing nice I can say is the narrator done a great job.

This was a cute and funny little story. I highly recommend it if you want a quick listen with some laughs! The narrators all done an amazing job!!

These characters are some of my favourites. Lauren also does a great job keeping you updated on the whole Morgan family even building storylines for upcoming books.

Warning 2 dogs pass in this story

I liked the story but I DID NOT appreciate the killing of 2 dogs in this story!

Why do authors do this? Are there really any readers that want to read things like that?

This is why I’m giving 2 stars for story. If it wasn’t for the above reason the story would have got 4 stars.

The narrators were amazing as always. You can’t go wrong with Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell.

Emotional story but not a realistic MC story

I’m giving this one 3 stars

At times I really liked this story and other times I wondered if I somehow skipped a chapter or two.

The story just didn’t flow right.

I liked both narrators but bought the book because of Aiden Snow. He has a great biker voice.

Which brings me to the fact that this story has very little to do with Bikers and the MC life.

I am not aware of any wardens or prison guards that are members of an MC. There are also two police officers that are part of the MC.

I loved the Freebird series so I bought every book in this series during a sale. I really hope the series gets better!

Also, if you are going to promote the book as an MC then at least be somewhat realistic in the occupations of the members and have elements of an MC like at least spending time at the clubhouse. These characters did go once to the clubhouse!

First I am not a fan of this narrator. He stops at odd places and there is no real voice change for female characters.

As for the book itself I found it slow, overly descriptive and the most anticlimactic book I have ever read.

Don’t go in thinking that this title leads to anything exciting, it doesn’t!

I don’t see the point of the handcuffing or using this title when the scene is over before it even begins (3/4 though the book).

I will not continue with this series or follow this narrator.

Tristan Miles is hilarious! Sebastian York was perfect!

4.5 stars. Sebastian York’s parts are so funny I had to pause the audiobook as I was laughing so hard. This never happens to me.

The book lost half a star at the end for not revealing a little thing. This is a pet peave of mine. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’m not saying anymore.

This is a great book though.

No female voice.

It is just too weird to listen to a male voice who doesn’t even attempt to do a female voice while reading the females POV.

No Scottish Accent?

Why bother? Who listens to a highlaner story to hear an American voice? I don’t and that is why I gave up on this one!

The narrator also sounded like he was reading. Pauses in places there shouldn’t be and no connection with the characters.
