Nor and King Casper are captured by the fay army and forced to face the indomitable Faerie Queen, Marasina. At her command, Casper is thrown into a mysterious prison while an even sinister fate is in store for Nor—a deadly fay poison that reveals Nor’s true nature. She’s not only half-fay. She is Queen Marasina’s heir. Revealed to be like the very creatures she despises, Nor must not only find a way to free Casper but also navigate a court that is as deadly as it is beautiful. As tensions mount and war looms between the kingdoms, Nor must choose a side, before it’s too late.

Perfect Sequel
Revisado: 11-06-22
Brandie June perfectly ended the Gold Spun duology with Curse Undone. Each page brought intrigue or excitement. It was an adventure and a story of family. I love how she writes characters that are non-binary without having controversy; in ways she has written elements that I wish could be brought into our world.
It’s a great book that I hope you all enjoy as well.

Unlikable Character Told Through Monotone Narration
Revisado: 01-06-21
I can understand the desire of an author wanting to read their work aloud. However, when the author reads the piece in a monotone manner that makes it impossible to tell the narration from the dialogue and the characters apart, it’s painful.
The story just ends with no conclusion. I can’t get this hour of my life back.
***SPOILERS AHEAD***
The main character is an unlikable narcissistic bitch who defends rapists and then blames a kid when her dog rips open the child’s arm. Then, she flees the scene to her apartment where the story ends. It’s as though the author started to write a book but decided to quit before any of the storylines she created could come to a conclusion.
Life is short, don’t throw it away with this.
