Great story, great performance

I bought this as a 'maybe' book in a 2 for 1 deal. Boy was I wrong! I didn't get what was going on at first but by the time I figured it out though I was hooked. The story kept me interested and was hard to turn it off at night because I kept wanting to hear just one more chapter. Narrator did at great job. Such emotion in her voice! This would make a great movie.

Just when you think you have it figured out, you don't, or do you? I kept going back and forth on this one. In the end though I was wrong. Good story and suspense. Just what you look for from a Harlan Coben book.

Loved it. I just visited France

I bought this book on a whim. Not sure why. But I went back and read the description I was wondering how interested I was going to be in a book with wine as its main promise. It had a great story. I was so interested in how they were finding little family secrets and the lives of the current-day characters. Very interesting to hear about life in occupied France. little sad that the story is done, but also happy I'm not falling into another series as I seem to go from series to series. Will look for other books by this author.

Good story mostly good narrating

I thought that was story was good and it kept me interested. Enough that it was hard to turn it off and go to sleep at night because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. the narrator was good but I hated it every time he did a kid voice. Adults top notch but those kids voices he did he needs more on them. Couldn't wait until the kid was done talking. I still recommend it though despite all of that. it's the second book that I read back-to-back by Sam author. Now I'm going to go look for another one of his books. So happy he kept politics out of this one.

Good story but slow at first

the story was really slow getting started. I was wondering if I was going to be able to finish but then it picked up got interesting to the point where it was hard to stop listening when it was time to go to bed.

A lot of twists and turns. Drama everywhere and a few surprises. You think that you have things figured out out but you find out that you don't.

The story is good. you don't know where it's going. narrator good but sometimes sounds like she's in a tin can. male voices for some reason sounds like Dolly Parton to me.

A good story that keeps you guessing and a Different Twist on the serial killer story. you never stop to think about the people that are unfortunate enough to be innocent family members of the Killer
