Great foundational nuggets
Revisado: 02-22-21
This was a good overview as well as some in-depth information about some of the important factors of doing Kickstarter. Overall I feel much better equipped to go about the next phase of raising money from my bubble machine company.

Historia
With a rare mix of honesty, humor, and compassion, comedian and movie star Russell Brand mines his own wild story and shares the advice and wisdom he has gained through his 14 years of recovery. Brand speaks to those suffering along the full spectrum of addiction - from drugs, alcohol, caffeine, and sugar addictions to addictions to work, stress, bad relationships, digital media, and fame. Brand understands that addiction can take many shapes and sizes and how the process of staying clean, sane, and unhooked is a daily activity.

Needs a new author to read it
Revisado: 01-02-20
I can't remember another book where I wish the author would have read it versus someone else. This will be the only exception. I found it very difficult to enjoy the book as it seems virtually every word was a theatrical performance. To me it seemed that this book was overwritten as far as trying to paint imagery. Russell did a good job at it but it's just became a onslaught of metaphors spoken as if this was Romeo and Juliet's last lines to each other.
I think his candidness is good. His articulation of certain things in recovery are great. and for sure no one will ever doubt that he's being genuine. However listening to it is just a chore. I actually just took my earphones off somewhere in chapter 11 when he was talking about an experience he had with being involved in a birth process. I'm over it .
