Historia
Unwitting time traveler Joseph Bridgeman is adjusting to life in the present and wondering if his traveling days are behind him. But when he’s contacted by the Continuum, an organized group of time travelers based in the future, he learns his career is just getting started. The Continuum needs Joe’s help. One of their operatives is missing, last seen in 19th-century Paris, and they believe Joe’s ability to see the past might be the only way to find him. Teamed up with Gabrielle Green, an acerbic, wisecracking traveler, Joe heads back to 1873 on his most dangerous mission yet.

The time travel theme is a favorite but not easy to enjoy if done wrong. This was a good read.

Looking forward to the movie!

The story grew in intensity like a well written screen adaptation. I can't wait to see it on screen and it's sequels. Just make sure Regina Hall and the rest of the audible cast are included! I'd like to see Hall get her action hero on!

couldn't stop listening,!
Revisado: 10-08-20
I couldn't stop listening! The narration was passionate, engaging, and soothing all at once. The story was very imaginative and created a world of stunning visuals that I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm ready for the next book in the series. The two perspectives were unlike some other audible series that just repeat the same script from two different characters because the author ran out of story or needed fluff to meet deadlines. This story gave us vision into the world of the characters, never cheating us, never failing to entertain.
