Could not handle the male narrator doing the female voice. He made her sound dumb and silly when she is confident and smart.

Upper- and working-class men and boys are thrown together into one trench and struggle to survive.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Revisado: 01-28-21
Wow, this is a very cute romantic short story.
The narration of this audiobook was on point! I did not want to stop listening so whenever I had to pause it, I could not wait to get back to it. Since it was a short story, I was able to wrap it up in a day’s time.
A must read/listen for anyone looking for a delightful story.

Information Packed!
Revisado: 01-20-21
A great book with plenty of information. Dr Joanna McMillan speaks in layman terms and does not go into too technical(medical) details which makes it so easy to understand what she is talking.
She provides a good overview of how our gut may react to certain foods and how we can improve our eating habits. The book also helps clear some misconceptions about food and eating habits. It explains why we need a diversity in our diet, the role of probiotics and prebiotics, the best diet in the world (totally agree with her on that), fiber importance, and some not so pleasant but important topics.
The short summary of tips after each episode is gold.
Highly recommend to someone who is new or in the beginning of their journey towards healthy eating.

Amusing
Revisado: 01-20-21
This was a very amusing piece about the author's traditional family meals. The story has 6 parts and each of the parts had a sort of random ending, but its not a traditional novel.
Each time the author (also the narrator) spoke about a dish, I googled it to understand what he was talking about. It was interesting to hear his personal experience with each of the dishes.
Overall it was a fun read.

A very short but cute story
Revisado: 01-20-21
A very short but cute story.
The audiobook version was almost like a play. It was amazingly performed with the background sounds, train announcements, crowd murmurs, church bells, songs, everything.
The ending was slightly rushed and I hope it was a little bit more to the end. However, I did smile through out the story.
