Historia
The ratings and views are off the chart. The fans just can't get enough. The dungeon gets more dangerous each day. But in a grinder designed to chew up and spit out crawlers by the millions, Carl and Princess Donut need to work harder than ever just to survive. They call it the Over City. A sprawling, once-thriving metropolis devastated by a mysterious calamity. But these streets are far from abandoned. An undead circus trawls the ruins. Murdered prostitutes rain from the sky. An ancient spell is finally ready to reveal its dark purpose.

Love it!!
Revisado: 04-24-25
Unique book series - simple yet addicting….. like potato chips. I’m buying the whole series. If you want complicated - this isn’t it. This is more on the fun meter.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

I LOVED IT! No DEI BS like what was in Wizard in Exile
Revisado: 04-05-25
This is a really unique book and just fun. I loved the disciple of war until they changed the character to underage person that is gay.

Historia
Kelvin Wiltshire lives the life of a simple cook in a remote village on the far side of Trendham. The townsfolk think little of the man and his son and believe him to be just another refugee from the Terabinian war. On cold winter nights, they share rumors of the bloody conflict and the mysterious death of Will Cartwright, the mighty mage who had the power to command storms. They like the new cook. They fear the fallen king. But the two men are one and the same.

I can’t believe they went with a gay character.
Revisado: 01-10-25
I’ve loved all of these books until Oliver came out as gay. There needs to be labels for books like this as I’m initiated in that kind of storyline. So disappointed.

Historia
Five years ago Corin Cadence's brother entered the Serpent Spire - a colossal tower with ever-shifting rooms, traps, and monsters. Those who survive the spire's trials return home with an attunement: a mark granting the bearer magical powers. According to legend, those few who reach the top of the tower will be granted a boon by the spire's goddess. He never returned. Now it's Corin's turn. He's headed to the top floor, on a mission to meet the goddess.

The wokness Ruins it.
Revisado: 08-15-24
Really too bad - super interesting concept but the wokness is lame. Performance was great but the woke parts - whack.

Pronoun Book -
Revisado: 08-15-24
I like this series a lot but once I got to the part in the first book that there is a gay kissing scene - I wanted to return it but it was way past the day. I'm one of those idiots who listens to a book for a few chapters - and if I love it I get the rest of the series. Well this one I hosed up as the pronoun issues distract straight readers. Zero chance I'm listening with my family - which sucks as we usually re-listen to the awesome series that I find. I just don't want to explain why the lead character is acting so different.

Historia
Corin Cadence finally has a firm reason to believe his brother, Tristan, is still alive. Unfortunately, finding more information isn’t going to be easy. Tristan appears to be entangled with a clandestine organization that calls themselves Whispers. And Corin’s last brush with the Whispers didn’t exactly end well. As much as he wants to follow that lead, Corin has more pressing problems to deal with.

Solid Book Except The Political / Pronouns
Revisado: 07-22-23
I truly love Audible (used to rent those cassette tapes at Cracker Barrel - and then forget to return them on time...!) and I think they need to have some type of system that lets people know if people in the story use multiple pronouns or the main character dances with the same sex. I'm not against it at all - but I sure would have liked a heads up seeing how my grandkids were listing with me (16 years old) and then we had to go into why two guys were dancing together. Just not a conversation I wanted to have over a book as we decided to stop listing to it -even though I already purchased most of the series!
Solid book - just no interested in the political things like one of the characters using different pronouns depending on the day.

Historia
At middle age, Herb and Nancy Payson decided they needed a change. Why not give up life on shore, quit their jobs in the smoky nightclubs of Los Angeles, and take up the cruising life? In Sea Foam, their 36-foot ketch, the Paysons and their large brood of teenage children cruised the Pacific for six and a half years. They experienced a certain amount of stark terror, but their delights far outbalanced the drawbacks. This special 35th anniversary edition is enhanced with a foreword by Lin Pardey, plus Herb's reflections on how cruising affected his children and his relationship with his determined, lifelong partner/wife Nancy.

Awesome book!
Revisado: 07-19-15
Although our boat, Moving On, isn't made of wood or has been to the South Pacific - I can feel for the author I. Their times of peril and WOW!!!!! What excitement!! This is a great book with witty humor. Even if you armed into sailing I think you'll like this book as it is about life and true adventures.... Actually - it sounded like an extreme sport before extreme sports were created! Great job_steve
