Historia
Sundog is a powerful novel about the life and loves of a foreman named Robert Corvus Strang, who worked on giant dam projects around the world until he was crippled in a fall down a 300-foot dam. Now as he tries to regain use of his legs, he has a chance to reassess his life, and a blasé journalist who has heard of Strang’s reputation in the field arrives to draw him out about his various incarnations.

Wonderful
Revisado: 06-27-18
I grew up in central Mississippi where the hills meet the Delta. I have so many wonderful memories of how things used to be. This book portrays all of my great memories and paints a beautiful picture of the true south for those who never experienced it. Bravo!

Historia
Whitetail Nation is the uproarious story of the season Pete Bodo set out to kill the big buck. From the rolling hills of upstate New York to the vast and unforgiving land of the Big Sky to the Texas ranches that feature high fences, deer feeders, and money-back guarantees, Bodo traverses deep into the heart of a lively, growing subculture that draws powerfully on durable American values: the love of the frontier, the importance of self-reliance, the camaraderie of men in adventure, the quest for sustained youth, and, yes, the capitalist’s right to amass every high-tech hunting gadget.

Outstanding
Revisado: 12-21-16
I have read some wonderful books over the years in regards to the outdoors and hunting and this book is one of the best. It paints a perfect picture of the nature loving sportsman and conservationist. Serious, funny and outlined perfectly, this book is a must read for the hunter who not only loves the act of hunting but who reflects on times afield gone by and the love for the sport that is a timeless tradition. Bravo
