Historia
When Lord Frampton dies in a skiing accident, a beautiful young woman named Phaedra appears at his funeral - claiming to be the Lord’s illegitimate daughter. In his will, Lord Frampton has left the priceless Frampton suite of sapphires to this interloper, confirming her claim and outraging his three adult sons and widow. Eventually, however, Phaedra’s sweet nature thaws the frosty relationships. She becomes the daughter that Antoinette Frampton never had and a wise and compassionate granddaughter to the formidable Dowager Lady Frampton.

Too perfect heroine and annoying voice
Revisado: 10-24-17
Heroine was too perfect. Too cookie cutter and her whiney voice almost made me stop the book. Usually love this author but this is not her best.

Historia
A mysterious stranger known as 'The Wolf' leaves an infant with the sisters of Santo Spirito. A tiny silver key hidden in her wrappings is the only clue to the child's identity and so begins a story as intriguing and beautiful as the city of Florence itself. Belinda Alexandra's new novel, Tuscan Rose, is set in Italy during the time of Mussolini. This richly woven tale of passion, love, longing, witchcraft and magic promises to be everything her readers love and more.

Too many personal diatribes about authors opinions!!!!
Revisado: 07-16-17
She is a great writer and it's a very good story (although the love triangle and oppressed women scenario is very similar to her other works), but I cringed every time (and there were many times) she went on and on and on about animal cruelty, how horrible it is for people to eat meat, wear animal products etc. And at then end how she tried to tie that why man-kind is always at war. Come-on. The main character is way too "flawless" and the author portrays her as this perfect woman who knows everything, can do anything, and always thinks the "right" things. Please give me a realistic person and leave your personal opinions out of your fabulous writing and I would buy every one of your books. However, I don't think I can handle another book where I am constantly rolling my eyes as I starting listening to another lecture from the author (through the main character) on her opinions on social and political matters.

not outlander quality
Revisado: 08-24-16
I loved her outlander series but this book had so much homosexual content - very graphic love scenes and detailed emotional dialogue. very little actual sorry telling or plot.

Historia
Here Gabaldon weaves together the strands of Lord John's secret and public lives - a shattering family mystery, a love affair with potentially disastrous consequences, and a war that stretches from the Old World to the New. It's been 17 years since Lord John's father, the duke of Pardloe, was found dead, a pistol in his hand and accusations of his role as a Jacobite agent staining forever a family's honor. Now unlaid ghosts from the past are stirring.
