I loved the self discovery of Marguerite, determination and tenacity, love and loss. What an absolute thrill to find out that Marguerite and her story were historically documented.

Heart wrenching, Heart felt and Humorous

At 56, I can’t believe I’m just finding my favorite author.
I’ve never cried, laughed or smiled while listening to an audiobook, until this week. I am now guilty of all three thanks to Kinfolk and Stars of Alabama.
I can’t imagine these read by anyone but the author. I am sure that the listening public is grateful for that rare gift. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.

Emotional, thought provoking, redemptive

I can’t imagine that this story isn’t a realistic portrayal of what so many women went through in country and once they made it home. It was my father’s generation that served. He never spoke of Vietnam, ever. I cannot imagine what it must be like to leave the US as a hero and come home treated as a criminal.
God help us for wasting lives and resources in wars that lead to nowhere. The book shook me to my core and gave me an understanding that I had always wished for when it came to my father’s experience. Must read.

I LOVED all of the main characters in this one, well done! I went to high school with every one of them and found myself assigning familiar faces to the characters as they were introduced and I came to know them better.
The story! I’m not one who typically reads supernatural but I could not have imagined what was in store when Noah Storm started to unfold. Noah could be a book all his own….. I have found a new author to add to my favorites list. Thanks Scott Carson!

Dark underworld

While the story was good, it was Difficult to psychologically ingest the fact that somewhere. This is a real scenario and that there are depraved and soulless humans who play games with others they think aren’t worthy of dignity. It was compelling and worth the listen
