Assaulted Chocolate

Total
4 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 05-21-20

Fun to read. I once lived in Ohio near Sugar Creek and other Amish towns and could imagine this story in such settings. Well written. I also love dark chocolate and other such treats so this lady Sherlock gets my attention in many wsys. I will be reading more of this series for sure. I am an author and editor as well so this book appeals to me in yet more ways.

"Next..." Reflects Mitch's Giant Caring

Total
5 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 11-05-18

An Albom fan from his radio days before " Tuesdays With Morrie", I get each new book with delight. Mitch is an author with insight, great talent, caring, fine imagination, and so much more, especially with obvious soul he's not hesitant to share.
"The Next Person You Meet in Heaven" shows understanding few authors dare to share. Albom's involvement in touching souls with his orphanage and other real-life ministries are ably compatible with his writing, maybe more in this book than his many others, earning my highest rating.
Thank you so much, Mitch. Visiting in Alpena, I tried to attend your book-signing but it was sold out the day it was announced in the newspaper, even in three possible sales sources. So I got on Amazon sales and got it delivered quickly, listened to it today and am delighted I did. God bless you, Mitch. So regret I didn't get to meet my favorite fellow author! God bless you!
