Historia
Colonel Butler has paid his dues and just wants to enjoy his retirement on a remote planet. But the galaxy has had other plans. He has been roped into searching for a politician’s missing son and an industry magnate’s missing daughter. He has been kidnapped, violated numerous laws, and caused the destruction of colonial facilities. He’s famous—or infamous, depending on who you ask—praised and reviled in equal measure across the galaxy for his exploits.

Historia
Michael Freeman is a disabled veteran who had just been fired from his mind-numbing cubicle job, which allowed his opportunistic girlfriend to dump him. Now, he only wants to spend some time at his grandfather's mountain cabin so he can unwind, away from the drudgery of daily life and with a cold beer in his hands. Standing in his way is an ancient spaceship with an emotional AI, nanites that have invaded his body, an international crime syndicate, a suicidal FBI agent on a vigilante mission, terrorists . . . and that's just the beginning.

Historia
After escaping from the colony ship in a faraway system, Cole has uncovered sinister evidence of August Walton's oppression: a castoff civilization living in the past and forced to comply with the Eternal leader's unjust edicts. It doesn't take long for Cole to realize that the planet has its own secrets. Navigating lies and half-truths leads to a brewing rebellion led by the one person who might hold all the answers he seeks. But, as any good Renegade knows, nothing's ever easy.

The problem with lying about having a super weapon is that the bad guys might believe they have nothing to lose by doing something stupid that both sides will regret. Or, they might just call your bluff. Either way, the Merry Band of Pirates need a plan to deal with the Fallout.

New and unique apocalyptic world.
Revisado: 08-14-21
Let me first start off by saying that when I looked up this author, I realized this is his first book on audible. I normally like to listen to audible books by proven narrators, but I looked the cover art and it’s synopsis so I thought I’d give it a try. To be honest it took me a chapter or two to really get into it, but once I did I was hooked. The author reads this book and does a decent job. The voices are off a little in the beginning but get much better through out the audiobook. What I enjoyed about this title was the uniqueness of the main character Johnnie. Just when you thought you understand his character and his motivation, the author takes a left turn. I am looking forward to future books in this series. Definitely recommend a listen.

Every disaster brings an opportunity. Goth Sullus and his empire have fallen. With the Legion and the rest of the galaxy watching from the still-smoldering galactic core, Carter, a former legionnaire turned private contractor, and Jack Bowie, a Navy spy with nowhere left to turn, sign up to work for an enterprising private contractor looking to make a statement on the planet Kublar. Plans are in motion dating back to the Savage Wars, and as the galaxy rushes to fill in the vacuum created by the fall of the Imperial Republic, the bodies are hitting the floor.

Couldn’t finish the book…. Need my credit back.
Revisado: 05-24-21
As a fan of the series, I was disappointed in the narrators performance. The monotone voice and the pronunciation of character names and places are awful. It was a mistake not to have RC Bray narrate season 2. That’s why I’m not even finishing and returning the book. No more wasted credit on this series.
