Historia
Out of nowhere, like a fresh breeze in a marketplace crowded with advice on what to believe, comes Byron Katie and what she calls "The Work". In the midst of a normal life, Katie became increasingly depressed. Then one morning, she woke up in a state of absolute joy, filled with the realization of how her own suffering had ended. The freedom of that realization has never left her, and now, in Loving What Is, you can discover the same freedom through The Work.

Riveting! Simple, clear & powerful process
Revisado: 11-26-11
This audiobook is even better than the actual book. It includes actual live conversations between Katie and participants in her workshops doing "the work". Some of the stories and experiences people have gone through are so disturbing they will leave you shocked - be prepared! But it's worth it. It powerfully demonstrates the power of Katie's process. It they can use this to work through those experiences and achieve peace - there's no question it can impact most of our typical day to day anxieties.
I also enjoyed getting to know Katie through listening to her interact with people. What a beautiful, joyful, innocent, lovely human being. Do not miss this book. Buy it even if you have read the book. It will leave you transformed!

Historia
According to studies, we all work for the same thing--and it's not just money. It's meaning. Through our work, we seek a sense of purpose, contribution, connection, value, and hope. Digging down to the meaning of work taps our resilience in hard times and our passion in good times. That's the simple but profound premise behind this groundbreaking book by renowned management expert Dave Ulrich and psychologist Wendy Ulrich.

Poor narration
Revisado: 08-28-11
I couldn't finish it. The narration is killing me...and life is just too short to suffer through this. The book is not being 'expressed' through the narrator. The narrator has his own style and what you get is that style - very strongly expressed. He could be reading ANY book - I don't think he is even hearing the words he is saying. I bet if we stopped him to ask what he just read he would have no idea. And that's the problem. After a few minutes I realize I have no idea what he is saying - my mind wanders because I'm sure the narrators mind has wandered. He is just not present or focused on the book and I can't get present either.

Historia
When Derek Sivers started CD Baby, he wasn’t planning on building a major business. He was a successful independent musician who just wanted to sell his CDs online. When no one would help him do it, he set out on his own and built an online store from scratch. He started in 1998 by helping his friends sell their CDs. In 2000, he hired his first employee. Eight years later, he sold CD Baby for $22 million. Sivers didn’t need a business plan, and neither do you.

One of the best audiobooks I've listened to. Significant value in wisdom per minute.
