A throughly entertaining escape!

Quickly drawn into the character’s life. Rich character description. The plot grabbed my attention and would not let go until the killer was known. The Audible narrator for this book was wonderful to listen to. His voice added to each characters development.

I was taken back when suddenly the audio played of the House of Representatives was being breached. The sounds vibrating of the chambers walls as people were told to take off their government pins and check for gas mask under their seat brought back the horror of that day. I was not even there. I was just watching on TV. But the horrific feelings of that day were stirred anew!
Learned many new facts that explained so much. Forever grateful to Liz Chaney for all her service to our country!

Friends and clients. It holds your attention from the beginning. Great for a car trip.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Have to really think to figure out who was killing these families. I was painting my bedroom and the time flew by.
Which scene was your favorite?
Trying to figure out what was happening to the counselor. Suddenly she was crazy. How had the killer gotten to her.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Seeing how some of the helped support each other.
