More boring than imaginable!

Wow—what an annoying waste of time and money! Beyond tedious, it took all I had to stick with it for 3 chapters. Even hard to listen to while walking my dog.

Do we really need so much intense detail about flight takeoff, landing, instrumentation, and minutiae that add nothing to the plot other than to fill up space & time? Boo—totally stupid to boot.

How did this excuse for a book get published???

Save the money and definitely the time. This ranks among the top five stupidest audiobooks I’ve had the misfortune of wasting my time on, never mind the money!

Dumb story, moronic characters, and pathetically melodramatic narration. Getting to chapter 18 was a true test of my endurance & I finally ran out.

Stream of consciousness more than anything

I almost abandoned this numerous times. The entire book feels much more like a stream of consciousness piece. I probably stuck with it given that I’m in the same age group as are the key characters and have lived through the virus also in a very big city. Character development was very good, number of surprises but I’m not so sure I’d rush to recommend this book. I’ve read everything the authors has published this far but couldn’t help feeling this was a real stretch for a book.

This was the most outrageous and blatant case of theft. Never mind the story—just as it was getting started, if was done & over. All for the privilege of paying one of my hard-earned credits! Total scam.

Beyond tedious!

I have read much of Aristotle’s work but the idea that ALL writing can be presented and enjoyed as an audio performance is madness. This performance, as well as the content, in audio format was utterly unbearable! Good God — I barely lasted for 5 minutes. Skip this if you value your mental health and well-being.

Do NOT bother!

This is by far the worst, most tedious book I’ve heard/read in many a year! It truly was a struggle to make it to chapter 8 and when I finally did, I did have to ask myself: “So what’s the point?” Oy just of my trying to stick it out but of the book?

The most amazing quality of this book, actually mind-bending, is just how highly ranked it was. Pathetic! Most of the book is self-indulgent stream of consciousness. Poor excuse for a book and exceedingly sophomoric writing.
