A Woman America can be Proud Of
Revisado: 02-26-19
This book reminds me that America has people in the limelight of the Whitehouse that we can be proud of. That we do have the hope that dignity can be restored by the ordinary people at the voting booths. This author has led an extraordinary ordinary life. She tells her story in a captivating way that keeps your attention to the very end. I would like her to write a follow up book on her family's life after the Whitehouse years.

Historia
The Middle East is a critically important area of our world. And, with its current prominence in international affairs, media images of the Middle East reach us on a daily basis. Much media coverage, however, is incomplete at best, failing to take account of either the complexities or the historical background of this pivotal region. For most of us, the real story of the Middle East remains untold. What made this crucial geopolitical area what it is today?

Historia
When the legendary Frankish king and emperor Charlemagne died in 814 he left behind a dominion and a legacy unlike anything seen in Western Europe since the fall of Rome. Johannes Fried paints a compelling portrait of a devout ruler, a violent time, and a unified kingdom that deepens our understanding of the man often called the father of Europe.

This was so bad, I couldn't listen past the 4th chapter. It would've been better to say we don't know much about Charlemagne and left it at that.
