Would be better off with the actual book
Revisado: 07-08-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
No, better to have the book with pictures
What did you like best about this story?
interesting and well varied topics
Which scene was your favorite?
there were heaps of bits that were good
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
no
Any additional comments?
Not really suited to being an audiobook, much better to have lying around the house so you can flick through it every now and then

Historia
A book that will change how you think and transform how you live.Forget everything you thought you knew about how to motivate people – at work, at school, at home. It is wrong. As Daniel H. Pink explains in his paradigm-shattering book Drive, the secret to high performance and satisfaction in today’s world is the deeply human need to direct our own lives, to learn and create new things, and to do better by ourselves and the world.

Not quite as straight forward
Revisado: 04-06-15
Where does Drive rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
In the middle for information
Who was your favorite character and why?
no characters
How did the narrator detract from the book?
narration was good
What did you learn from Drive that you would use in your daily life?
sadly the book repeated itself a lot, and the main facts don't weigh up in light of better understanding of simple behavioural psychology
Any additional comments?
Internal and external motivation sound great but at the heart they are simple conditioned behaviours - not the conclusion the book came to

Intuition is not some magical property that arises unbidden from the depths of our mind. It is a product of long hours and intelligent design, of meaningful work environments, and particular rules and principles. This audiobook shows us how we can hone our instinctive ability to know in an instant, helping us to bring out the best in our thinking and become better decision-makers in our homes, offices, and in everyday life.

Good first half to approaching worries in life
Revisado: 06-20-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Solid principles to manage worries. Second half becomes a little too reliant on prayer to solve problems in my opinion.
Would you be willing to try another book from Dale Carnegie? Why or why not?
Yes, he is very forthright in his view that if the book isn't helping then stop reading it. He has made the book to be used as a reference and as such it is useful. This would have benefitted from being broken down into chapters on the audio file as without having to stop and bookmark the start of every chapter it is nigh on impossible to go back and review chapters.
Any additional comments?
Needed to be broken into individual chapters for ease of reference when listening
