A Collection of Greatness
Revisado: 02-11-18
I'm a faithful listener to Oprah's Soul Conversations Sunday podcast and I couldn't be happier that she took several insightful perspectives from this show and put them all together to create this masterpiece. It's the kind of book you can listen to over & over again and still gain new profound wisdom each and every time. I'm so glad she decided to go this route with her career & help her audience reach new heights with their mindsets & overall outlook on life. This is what the world needs, more of this. It helps others look at things differently, gain different perspectives with their own "aha" moments and live a fulfilling life that they truly understand is bigger than them. It helps people to further understand that we all have our own purposes here and that if we are able to tap into them, it helps contribute to the well being of society as God intended as well as help defy odds, be empathetic towards our neighbor and create the kind of harmony and peace within ourselves to overcome anything. Thank you Oprah for creating a platform for various people to tell their truths about their spiritual journeys hoping to possibly help others on theirs and indeed they are. I LOVE this book. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for doing God's will. You are an angel.

Relatable, Raw and Real. Straight, no Chaser
Revisado: 11-11-17
I loved how open & honest she was about the difficult times in her life. Her narration was exquisite-very entertaining. I want to hear more about her life through her eyes from her perspective. She seems like the big sis you can talk to about anything & won't feel judged, cuz she can relate in some way & can understand. She's dope.

Words to Live By... I Love This Kind of Love
Revisado: 11-11-17
This book is very encouraging! It's always good to know you're not alone. I thank them for sharing. If you're looking to achieve what most can't, to obtain the kind of love God wants for us all, this would be the way. That Forever Kind of Love. The sacrifices that you have to make are more than worth it in the end. Things worth having don't come easy. I can relate personally to this story as I am currently experiencing something similar. You really have to have a close relationship with God to help get you through the trying times of "The Wait". Learn to have faith in him regardless of how things may seem & what you may feel like at the time. Learn how God moves, so you can hear him & see him in everyone as that'll help guide you. Be open to receiving his love in sometimes an unorthodox kind of way. He's always there listening so you can always reach out. Develop your patience. Focus on improvement of self so you can be prepared for the Love of Your Life, the person God has specifically designed for you even if that person doesn't come in the packaging you thought was best for you. Embrace the fact that God knows the package that is best for you. Have faith & keep believing that everyone has their time & you'll be ready when it's yours. You're going to need this preparation to help you endure the ups & downs of marriage. Trust that everything happens for a reason & if you try to make the best out of everything, everything will work best for you. It'll all come together in your favor in the end. How bad do you want a fulfilling, loving, lasting, God approved relationship/marriage? Then you're gonna have to put in the work to achieve this. This journey is not for the weak. Keep God close. He'll make you strong. Peace, Love, Light and Blessings to all.
