Historia
Vanity Fair, with its rich cast of characters, takes place on the snakes-and-ladders board of life. Amelia Sedley, daughter of a wealthy merchant, has a loving mother to supervise her courtship. Becky Sharp, an orphan, has to use her wit, charm, and resourcefulness to escape from her destiny as a governess. This she does ruthlessly, musing: "I think I could become a good woman, if I had £5,000 a year."

Historia
A definitive, deeply moving narrative, Bonhoeffer is a story of moral courage in the face of the monstrous evil that was Nazism. After discovering the fire of true faith in a Harlem church, Bonhoeffer returned to Germany and became one of the first to speak out against Hitler. As a double agent, he joined the plot to assassinate the Führer and was hanged in Flossenbürg concentration camp at age thirty-nine. Since his death, Bonhoeffer has grown to be one of the most fascinating, complex figures of the twentieth century.

Where does Bonhoeffer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This would be one of the best I have ever listened to - both in terms of content and performance.
What other book might you compare Bonhoeffer to and why?
Long Walk To Freedom - to hear about a truly committed person who is inspiring just by who he was.
Any additional comments?
This is one of the best books I have ever read. I would say this is a must read for anyone who is searching for examples of a life well lived.
