Great book, but his personal opinion got in the way some

It was a great book, but he was very determined to make sure you knew his views on population and it’s effects on climate change. He seems to think that the more people there are the worst it’s going to be for the planet. And that if we didn’t have as many people then our lifestyle would be just fine. Instead of what we are doing is making climate change happen and that our switch to renewable energy will allow our population to grow without fear of destroying the earth in the process. Anyways, this book was supposed to be about what has happened not about his opinion on what will happen. But the history part of the book was fantastic, his prediction part wasn’t.

Never stopping but to resituate oneself for the road ahead with no time to second guess what has brought you to this point in time. So dive in, enjoying and don’t worry about what’s already done; it’d be a lot cooler if you did.. alright alright alright.

This was a awesome book. Great stories and adventures. But if compared to his other 2 books I would say this is my 3ed favorite. It just doesn’t compare to is first book, which is the best or his second. All great books though.

A amazing look into the life of a legend

It was a amazing journey into Anthony Bourdain’s life made even better by it being read by the legend himself. Left you hanging on every single word. Never a dull moment in a twisting and winding path into the life of the kitchen.
Some of the transitions from chapter to chapter are cut very short so you are not missing anything even though you think you are and sometimes have to check to make sure you didn’t. This is only the fault of the person that edited the audio. But still worth every second getting to hear this story in Anthony Bourdain’s voice.
