This book ranks right up there at the top. I love Karin Slaughter's Grant County/Will Trent novels!

Will Trent, Sara Linton, and Amanda Wagner. These 3 characters are always a pleasure to read.
Which character – as performed by Kathleen Early – was your favorite?
I always love Ms. Early's portrayals of Sara Linton and Angie Polaski.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. Nothing against the book, itself. I just can't sit tight for that long.
Any additional comments?
In my never-to-be-humble opinion, Kathleen Early has become the voice of Karin Slaughter's characters in the Will Trent series. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep her. No-one else should even be considered to narrate the rest of this series.

Would you listen to Beyond Reach again? Why?
No. I did not enjoy the narration of Joyce Bean. Her male voices are atrocious, her accents are all over the place, and her narration is, overall, too affected. Very distracting.
If you’ve listened to books by Karin Slaughter before, how does this one compare?
I've listened to MANY of Karin Slaughter's books. While this one is not the best, it is still very enjoyable...if you can get past the poor narration work.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Joyce Bean?
KATHLEEN EARLY!!!

Overall, a good book and worth a read.

I can't even remember the last time a book moved me as this one has. I just want to proclaim its merits from a mountaintop so that all the world can hear!! I highly recommend that EVERYONE read (or listen to) this book!
I have already ordered Mr. Stein's other novels (printed versions from Amazon), and I can't wait to receive them.
