The story in itself was good. However, there was a lack of research. Everything about the MRI is wrong. A person cannot carry two cords of wood. These and other inaccuracies make the story stumble.

No one is that cruel to someone for that long. Especially after they saved their life. Just too unrealistic. Tried, but just couldn’t continue past the first few chapters. I read other books by this author that were far better.
