There was a lot to each of the characters, and once events started happening in the middle of the story, you start to wonder why this is happening and get involved in the storyline. Once you get to the end, however, it comes together, but it seemed just so so. Maybe it ended too quickly, or there could have been more of a story around the last scene, just *something*, I can't put my finger on it.

it was okay

I enjoyed the narrator and I'm glad it's the same narrator throughout the series but this book was repetitive about certain things and it seemed like the story line was a plateau and didn't really have a climax? hard to explain.

The narrator's voice took a lot of effort to get used to. The content was nice to hear, but if you do a Google search of Empaths, you could probably find all the same information in one article.
