Historia
This explosive new audiobook challenges many of the long-held assumptions about blacks, about Jews, about Germans and Nazis, about slavery, and about education. Plainly written, powerfully reasoned, and backed with a startling array of documented facts, Black Rednecks and White Liberals takes on the trendy intellectuals of our times as well as historic interpreters of American life.

Great Historical Insights
Revisado: 07-15-24
Very much enjoyed the viewpoints of an objective historical scholar. Enjoyed seeing him refute some long held beliefs and to note that most every version of hstorival viewpoint is some current piece of time reflected against the past, typically with bias. Should be required reading for many people in school and society.

Good info, monotone presentation
Revisado: 12-06-22
Really enjoyed the subject matter and historucal tues and insight or theories of why ammendments sometimes changed and even went back to original intent. I beleieve it was the ro ot reading the actual book. Probably a dry subject already, but even more so with the presentation.

interesting unfo, but half truths.

In looking at the graphs and figures i think he only picked info to support his theories. Much like anyone so i don't blame him. Also saw he worked at the Heartland Institute which is funded in part bt petroleum companies and the Kich brothers so it makes me a bit skeptical. Worth the read to hear both sides of the argument, just go in a bit guarded.

Historia
The worst idea in history is back! Communism has wrecked national economies, enslaved whole peoples, and killed more than a hundred million men and women. What's not to like? Too many young Americans are supporting communism. Millennials prefer socialism to capitalism, and 25 percent have a positive view of Lenin. One in four Americans believe that George W. Bush killed more people than Joseph Stalin. And 69 percent of millennials would vote for a socialist for president. They ought to know better.

Historia
Continuing where Thus Spoke Zarathustra left off, Nietzsche's controversial work Beyond Good and Evil is one of the most influential philosophical texts of the 19th century and one of the most controversial works of ideology ever written. Attacking the notion of morality as nothing more than institutionalised weakness, Nietzsche criticises past philosophers for their unquestioning acceptance of moral precepts. Nietzsche tried to formulate what he called "the philosophy of the future".

Over blown and arrogant

There is a reason he was not read or appreciated during his time. It felt like he just wanted to hear himself talk or look at his own written word. Will.not read anything else by him.
