I love georgette Heyer's books. They offer humor and romance with goodness and show the total lack of need for profanity. It is truly sad how so many authors seem to be unable to compose even one chapter without uttering some foul language that made their book any better. I also appreciate the moral decency in her books.

I had read this book by Mary Stewart years back.
I appreciate her work especially since I do not have to wade through profanity and torrid love scenes.
Her skill in crafting the story line and description of geographic location mixed with history of the time is amazing. It is like I am actually there as a witness watching as she lays out her scene; I feel like a voyeur.

I love this book by Georgette Heyer the best. The reader does and excellent job with his elocution. Each person is distinct from the rest and if you start anyway in the book you can recognize them individually. This story has it all; romance, humor mystery. I would love to see this made into a movie! I can listen to it again and again. 💜💜💜💜

In The Case for Trump, award-winning historian and political commentator Victor Davis Hanson explains how a celebrity businessman with no political or military experience triumphed over 16 well-qualified Republican rivals, a Democrat with a quarter-billion-dollar war chest, and a hostile media and Washington establishment to become president of the US—and an extremely successful president.

Case for Trump
Revisado: 02-20-20
This author doesn't like President Trump at all. Even President Trump's positives came across like nails on a chalk board. In fact he managed to make the good things he mentioned as forced and when he talked about the left's conduct it was no big deal. I was very disappointed and regret having purchased this audible. I will see if I can trade it for something else.

Historia
Investigative journalist Lee Smith's The Plot Against the President tells the story of how Congressman Devin Nunes uncovered the operation to bring down the commander-in-chief. While popular opinion holds that Russia subverted democratic processes during the 2016 elections, the real damage was done not by Moscow or any other foreign actor. Rather, this was a slow-moving coup engineered by a coterie of the American elite, the "deep state," targeting not only the president, but also the rest of the country.

Finally the truth in an understandable format.
I expect that President Trump will still be reviled by haters who are for whatever reason driven by hatred but. thankful the truth is out!
I pray that there are charges brought against these people who sought to bring down a duly elected president!

I was raised on the Louis L'Amour books they are rich in our country's beginnings. He wraps his story around real country real places. I loved his book on Yellowstone. It didn't name it so it was a rich surprise to find myself viewing it thru eyes that had no idea such a place could exist. This story is rich in discovering sights our early explorers must have viewed also. His men and women are super heroes. I love hearing his books in audible.

Historia
My name is Daniel de Boar and I am a journalist - sort of. I work for the business section of one of London's less-well-known local rags. Despite my career shortfall, up until a year ago, I was a happily married man with the world at my feet, a beautiful lady (who happened to be an exceptionally good journalist) on my arm, and our whole lives ahead of us. If I had any problems at all they were of the mundane variety. And then one night, all that changed when I got the knock and the friendly policewoman told me my wife was dead.

I wanted to like this. It had a good story line, I just could not get past the profanity! Seems like after the first page the author couldn't even do one paragraph without using the f word several times. That word is so distasteful and I bet about one fifth of the book was that word. I guess he was trying to make the story longer!
I would never have purchased this book if I knew that.
