Great mystery
Revisado: 11-26-20
The story moves along swiftly and draws you in and keep your attention. The characters are compelling and makes you quickly become invested in them and care about them. The action and conflict sections were exciting. The resolution was satisfying and wrapped up the book perfectly.

Historia
Eric didn't ask to be a vampire. In fact he didn't even believe in them. Biting your own tongue with your fangs does a lot of convincing. Even so, being a part-time undead isn't as easy as you might think. It can let you hold down a day job, true, but sometimes the night "life" can be more than a little difficult, what with those bloodthirsty urges and predatory instincts kicking in.

One of the best, ever.
Revisado: 11-08-20
This humble anti-hero had me laughing out loud and rooting for him. The story is an intriguing mash-up of modern day and medieval that keeps you thinking and wanting more. The only reason I gave the performance 4 stars was because the narrator has some sort of lisp that sounds like his dentures came loose and was annoying enough to pull me out of the story. Otherwise this was the best story I’ve read in years!! I’m getting the next book immediately and can’t wait.
