Historia
In 1912, scientist Marie Curie spent two months on the British seaside at the home of Hertha Ayrton, an accomplished mathematician, inventor, and suffragette. At the time, Curie was in the throes of a scandal in France over her affair with Paul Langevin, which threatened to overshadow the accomplishment of her second Nobel Prize. Performed by Kate Mulgrew and Francesca Faridany at the Minetta Lane Theatre, this play by Lauren Gunderson is an ode to two remarkable women.

Loved this with my whole heart. Like overhearing a fascinating conversation between two sophisticated, brilliant women. I’m listening to everything about Madam Curie but this was the sumptuous dessert!

Historia
The safety profession has been stagnant for far too long. Safety folks are abused and misused; they’re often underpaid and overworked; they are undervalued and not appreciated; they find themselves being blamed and shamed when accidents occur; they are torn between the front line and management, they have been forced to knowingly promote flawed, ineffective and disproven safety management systems - to preach from a bible in which they do not believe, and its time for all of that to change.

Loved this book so much! Dynamic narration, great energy and just so much fun! I think anyone who works with safety professionals will also get so much out of this!

I hope Mr. Zamora writes 100s more books.
Revisado: 01-14-23
i can’t stand how beautifully done this audiobook is! The story, the writing, the narration. So beautifully done! I know it’s a memoir and perhaps the author doesn’t plan to write another book but the writing and his voice was so engrossing, I hope he writes 100’s more books. The world needs more of Mr. Zamora.
