Nice cozy witch and demon love stoy.

Muriel is a nature witch who accidentally summons a soul stealing demon, Ozroth the Terrible, who sets about trying to structure a deal to get Muriel to trade her soul. But Muriel has other things she is worrying about. Her beloved forest is under attack by a blight attacking its health and a greedy mayor who wants to dig it all up and put in a tourist site. she is trying to convince her very overbearing mother to pay for her to attend a college to improve her skills. her mother is her underwhelmed by the nature of her magic. Good story, well written, and great narration.

Excellent for thevseason

Excellentnarration, Andi and Teddy nailed Molly and Liam. I am not aware of reading any of this author books previously. I will be keeping an eye out for more. The story was well written, and moves right along. great reoccurring local residents, and plot nuggets, some easier to guess. Nice cozy romance with a little spice. 😉

My new smile inducer!

OMG! I love the author and Ora and Rhodes, and their sidekicks and extended family warmed my heart. This author writes the best slow burn romances. I suck her books up and re-listen over and over again. I laughed and smiled and giggled through the whole book. The special moment at the end was very appreciated. She writes beautiful, strong, sexy women, who are rebuilding their lives and facing life head on. Her men are strong, sxy, and secure enough in themselves to offer emotional support always, and physical support when asked for. They are there to love and support, not manage and control. These characters are mature adults who have faced life's challenges and are emerging to re-engage life on their own terms. Thanks so much for these wonderful stories. Amanda and Sebastian added to the complete enjoyment with their usual level in excellence in narrating the story.

I will admit to a softening of my view of President Nixon in recent years, this book went a long way to opening my eyes. Mr Shepard was hired into the White House as a baby lawyer and I found his narration of the facts eye opening a d unfortunately very relatable. He does not paint Nixon as a saint, but as a man with vulnerabilities, and perhaps not as an acute killer instinct as his enemies.
Mr Shepard shares many facts, dates, names, and data. I think it would be better on my second read to make notes I keep everything clear in my mind. I am glad I listened to this book.

Always a delight to relisten

I have listen to this book and two others more than once. I am not a physicist or cosmologist, and never hoped to be,but I enjoy learning, and a goid story and find I can do both listening to Professor Randall's books, and Ms Macduffie does an outstanding job of narrating them.
First, I am well aware that these books are not recent publications and some theories discussed I them are not currently as popular as they were at one time. But what I find delightful in these books are they do not bog me down in complex theories and formulas, Instead I find in them some history and insight into the ideas and effort put into finding experiments into finding more information about the world and space around us and how and why they work together like they do.

Excellent second in the series

Well written and excellently narrated, the author and narrator make Peter and Nightingale and the other characters very much come to life. The follow up on Nightingale and Lesley was much appreciated. I think Peter had better practice harder and faster. I very much look forward to his upcoming escapades.

Oh, what fun!

From trying the sample, I knew I had to have this book. The concept was promising and delivered. I enjoyed the dual points of view, The narrators, Michelle and Troy did a great job, and made the story even better. Grayson and his three brothers and their friend Eamon, run Red rock protection service. The four brothers are gargoyles and Salon is a demon. Selby is a talented seamstress who has made a fire proof wedding dress for a client who is marrying a dragon. b the magical "wall" that prevented humans from recognizing that "monsters" coexist was destroyed about four years prior and veins on both sides are less than thrilled about it.
I very much enjoyed the level of caring, loving, sex, realizations, and suspense/apprehension (not too much of the last). it made an enjoyable, entertaining listen that kept me smiling the whole listen, especially the talented tail. I very much enjoyed the writing and the narration of this story and have the next one cued up and waiting. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Great start to a series!

This is the third time I have read/listened to this book! This author combined everything I love in a book: Great writing, great editing, plot, twists, wizards, revenents, mystery, intrique,, romantic interests. new friends, good pacing, and very likable characters. The narrator was a perfect match for Peter, Lesley, Beverly, Inspector Nightingale, and Molly (who doesn't speak). He does this my chance of accent and manner of speaking and not tone or pitch. Very effective. 😍

Emily Lane runs a year round Christmas boutique "Under the Mistletoe. She has an insatiable curiosity regarding the crimes that occur and skills and thought processes that she doesn't explain, only that she has secrets she doesn't explain. Single father and police constable Sam Wilner would definitely be interested in a relationship, and his teenage daughter is definitely trying to assist in the process. Entertaining stories very well presented. Looking forward to Season 2

A delightful entrance into a new series.

Camilla is the youngest child and only daughter in family that own a restaurant that features traditional Puerto Rican food. Liam's grandfather owns the distillery next door. The pair's grandfathers blackmail them into a fake engagement. Friends since childhood. Both have struggles to face and overcome. Both face identifying what they want their lives to
be and who they want it to be with. The narrator did an outstanding job with the Puerto Rican accent and in differentiating the voices of the individuals in the story. A delightful and entertaining read, and I look forward to the best book in the series. 👍
